Flip Flop Scorpion Hunt

This painting was in response to my wife wearing flip flops on a night walk to "hunt" for scorpions. Only my wife wears flip flops when danger is present (eye roll)! NO scorpions were harmed during our "hunt." We just wanted to see them glow at night using our black light flashlights. During the Summer months in Texas, you can always see a scorpion (or 10) scurrying around at night. I love the Texas Hill Country and all the amazing critters that come out at night!
